Here are links to the MCAL, SCL, and DFAL finals. NCS is going to be VERY interesting with many competitive races.
From MCAL and Jason Jacobson (San Rafael HS Coach)
The meet was held today -- Wednesday, November 7, 2007 -- at Indian Valley College in Novato, California.
The course is 3.1 miles and is very hilly.
Conditions were perfect today ... mild temperature and no wind.
On the Varsity Boys, Erik Olson of Novato ran away from the field from the gun. A very impressive Sophomore, he simply decimated the field. It was a great battle between Redwood and Tamalpais for the team title, with Tamalpais showing some incredible depth and great pack running to literally run away with the team title (49 points), with Redwood following in second place (78 points).
On the Varsity Girls, Mickey Davis and Kelsey Ripp, both seniors of San Rafael, led wire to wire. Mickey was the eventual winner, followed by Kelsey and a strong finishing Theresa Devine of Marin Catholic (a sophomore). Redwood was simply dominant in the girls race, scoring a scant 39 points. A strong pack with a very low spread from 1 to 5 looking to make another run at a State Meet berth. They should be very strong in D-III. San Rafael placed second for the second year in a row with 58 points.
Next Saturday, November 17, 2007, the MCAL schools move into their respective divisions t o compete at Hayward High School in the North Coast Section Championships.
Thank you,
Jason Jacobson

Are there going to be BVAL League meet results and analysis?
The BVAL Results are posted at the following link:
BVAL Results on dyestatcal.com
If a coach or athlete from the BVAL would like to send a meet summary, I will be happy to post.
the DFAL links dont work
OK thanks. Will fix ASAP.
is the course the same for the DFAL and EBAL course. nice win by Attarian today and College Park team wise. 14:48 is crazy!
From Campolindo coach Chuck Woolridge in regards to the EBAL and DFAL courses
"The course that we used is virtually identical to the course used by the EBAL. We moved our finish to the exact same place so that times could be used to compare. The distance is exactly the same. Only one 100m section was different, and it was only a difference of running along the side of a road instead of running on the adjacent dirt trail. I'd say that if you do a straight comparison, it is telling."
I think the times of the first three runners speak for themselves.
DFAL links should be good now. They are linked to Campo's XC website.
Is the DFAL results going to be posted?
They are already posted. Scroll down to the bottom of this article and you can see the links to all races.
