Head Track and Field coach opening

Calaveras High School, San Andreas California, is in search of a qualified Head Track and Field coach for the coming 2025 season.  Practice begins in late January, 3:25-~5:30, with a couple of conditioning weeks, and runs through the end of May (California State Meet). Practice is daily, Monday-Friday.  Weekday League meets begin in late March and go through April with the Mother Lode League Finals in late April.  There will be Invitationals beginning in early March and going through April.  Most of these will be on Saturdays.  Calaveras has hosted an Invitational for many years but this would be optional and Calaveras will most likely host a MLL league Cluster meet.  You must be able to travel with the team to both league meets and invitationals.  A bus is available for these meets.

You must have a current CPR/First Aid card and also complete the Mandatory district training, which can be done online. 

Calaveras Track & Field has had much success and has a very talented group in waiting for an ambitious and qualified/knowledgeable coach.

For those of you who do not know Jim Tracy, he was the former University SF coach who passed away in 2014 after being diagnosed with ALS. You can read about Jim following his passing at this LINK. His girls' teams won 10 state championships in cross country, still the all-time record.
