In D5 boys, Athenian has defeated CPS in all three league meets this year

Why does d5 have six qualifying teams to state when d1 only has two? Ridiculous.

The amount of teams that get to qualify from each section and division is based on the success of teams in the past few years. NCS Division V teams typically place a lot of teams in the top 10 at state which results in more teams qualifying to state.

The Abdo family has, as best as I have been informed, elected out of the running program.

Guess you have got to move Amador ahead of SRV. Intravia run strong but the depth of Amador has taken down the wolves.

Yes AV beat SRV by 4 points, "taken down the wolves" is a bit premature as SRV has 4 NCS titles in the past four years. Should be a battle at Hayward.

EBAL teams have a history of doing battle at Hayward. It''l be interesting to see who grabs the 2nd spot to state on the boys side in D1 between SRV and AV and also who gets left out of state on the girls side between AV, MV, and Granada

Here's hoping that Hayward won't be a quagmire as in the past few years.

In D5 Girls, Athenian has gone undefeated in every BCL West league meet. They have beat College Prep by at least 10 point every time.

My earlier comment about Amador taking down SRV was wrt EBAL's. I watched all 4 SRV NCS titles. The SRV boys and particularly the seniors have a track record of coming up big at Hayward. My fingers are cross for Intravia and the rest of the SRV boys come November 23rd
