why are the top two seeds in the same heat? I thought they split it up so that 1,4,5 etc were together while 2,3,6 were in one heat?
Because only top 3 advance from this meet to NCS MOC. Athletes need to have the opportunity to compete against each other unlike the area meets were 7 qualify to MOC.
