Does anyone do this for ncs?
See... Carlmont #1! You don't need track. Just the best coach in California!!!
Bell's and Carlmont you both need to quit whining and Just perform! With the size of both your schools I would love to see these handfull coaches from D3 schools and below SI,SF,Willow Glenn,Aptos,SLV,Halfmoon Bay,Carmel plus a few more out there likely! You Might win a State Championship finally!
It's not whining its winning. Anyone can have a state team ONCE but to dominate the section like Carlmont and Jeff Gilkey (we all know he is the real coach... But wasn't he Coaching in SF? They'll win State in a few years he's the best coach in CA).
But please. D3, D4 and D5 is a joke. It's basically Nor Cal as all the So Xal Teams run up. Come run with the big dogs!
We'll let the runners themselves decide who is best and not this silly back and forth here.
As for Div. 3, 4 and 5 a joke, please do some research before throwing that out there. The Southern California teams are well represented in all divisions. Just ask any of the teams and individuals who have had success in those divisions if their accomplishments felt like a joke. They worked just as hard as any other schools and to demean their accomplishments is way out of line.
Anon 841 you're just mad no one is talking about you!
This site is dead. Worse than die stat.
Where's the division rankings you promised?
Which divisions? Section?
I've been working on the NCS Division 1 rankings, but have gotten a little bit delayed by some things that come up in life. I told Albert I'd have them to him by this week, but it's going to have to be next week. My apologies. Hopefully they will be worth the wait. At the same time, there has been a ton of new content added to this site this week, from race results, to the report of a new national record, to the interview with a legend, and now an update on pertinent rule changes, not the least of which deals with the uniform violations that everyone is always complaining about. For a time when not very much is going on in high school running, Albert has done a pretty good job populating the site with new stuff.
