what happened to Gabe Arias-Sheridan? Don't remember seeing him during the track season.
He was injured.

Pretty sure Stalters was a senior
Danny Stalters was a junior and is now a senior. He carries over PR's of 15:32 Mt. SAC; 15:30 Hayward D-III; 2:00.61/4:26.89/9:30.45

Thank you Peter. It's not the first time a runner was listed with the wrong grade so I was ready to break out a new list...ha!
I'm going to try and break that top ten
That's the spirit.
Good job on getting Hurlock in there. Without him showing up in any previous CIF results he is easy to forget about.
Is there anyone from SRV that's gong to do things this year? I noticed the preseason rankings seem to have them high on the list, but who's going to lead them?
Matt Devries most likely. Devil's advocate says he is pretty inconsistent but when he's on form he's a solid front runner. This girls list looks pretty D1 dominated. Last year's battle between Abdo and Pianin was exciting.
And we should not forget about Sophie Hartley from Granada either. She came in 2nd to Santisteban her freshman two years ago but only returned late in the track season from a broken leg.
There are so many talented boys that restricting it to just ten is bound to have some disagreement from the commenters.
I don't know much about Chloe Pigg, but from what I've heard, she may make her way onto this list as well.
Alex Conner for sure should be on this. Ram 9:25 for 3200 qualified for state and ran 15:22 at Stanford for 5k
Alex Conner is taking his talents to Yale.
Hate to say it but I would be surprised to see Hartley mixing it up in the front. From what I hear it's been a slow road to recovery and her track season was simply "participation" at best. Wildcard on the boys side: Conner McKinnon from Amador Valley. Qualified to state as a sophomore with a 1:54 at MOC. He threw down some decent times for his first xc season but after this monster track season he could be one of those guys that comes from nowhere and improves drastically.
I believe Amador has an incoming freshman girl who was sub 5 as an 8th grader. Ran for the Pleasanton Heat if my memory serves me correctly.
I don't know about sub 5 but she is definitely fast and under 5:10 I believe.
Looks like Annaka Green of the Heat run 4:39 for 1500m at the Portland Invite. While that is not 1600m, looks sub 5'ish.
I believe she is headed to Amador.
Looks like Pianin and Green will give the Amador girls a pretty solid 1-2 punch.
Bayliss over Abdo on the girls side.
