As a SMB fan, wonder why the school is always overlooked. Why wouldn't they be one of the top teams in the 4x400 girls relay team

What about Sophia Castiglioni's 10.43 last weekend? That could put her in contention in the 3200.

I was just going by the entry marks unless I knew a different mark. I will go back and analyze the two events mentioned and see if I need to update the preview.

I appreciate the feedback. If anybody spots other athletes and teams that deserve to be mentioned, feel free to add them below.

All athletes who qualified for the Invite "deserve" to be mentioned. All entries have worked hard to make it to this point. I hope all of the sleepers hiding in each heat beat out your favorite picks as posted on MileSplit. I guess we will just wait and see.

If you want to see all the participants in the entire meet, you can get that information at the meet by buying a meet program. My preview is a list of athletes who I believe will have a shot to win each event. I am sure I missed some athletes that may win but that is why they run and hold each event.

9:02 sounds like a typical trophy participation parent. You did a great job recapping the favorites and I wish all the kids success. Great response on go buy a program.

It amazes me how rude so many posters are on this site. All invite athletes who made it to the MOC are at the top of their game. Participation trophy, jerk thing to say, but the norm for this site.

I'm the SMB fan. Yes the comments by 9:02 doesn't even make any sense. The purpose of the review is to highlight the favorites in the meets. I can see the issue with SMB & others, if they don't provide their best results, many runners can easily be left out of the summary.

And Albert does an awesome job. Whenever he creates a preview or link to results, he ALWAYS asks for athletes/performances he might have missed. Who else is providing this sort of information free of charge? Show a little appreciation.
