Excellent preview, but there may be a correction required: Wendy Brown of Woodside won CCS in the HJ, LJ, and TJ in 1984 (and went on to achieve the same at the State meet, winning the team title all by herself). So Carbin might become the first male to achieve the feat in CCS, but not the first athlete. Regardless, he's a phenomenal athlete and fun to watch, good luck to him!
That is correct and will definitely add Wendy Brown to the preview. She was a junior when I was a freshman in high school in the same league. She did indeed win the state title by herself scoring 38 points. In addition to the three jump victories, she also had a 2nd in the 100 hurdles behind Gail Devers.
Thanks for comment.
