Some background info on this race...
Alameda was missing both their first and fourth runners.
The course was not marked off, runners were actually impeded by dogs on the course. A coupe runners were actually followed by dogs for an entire mile.
*****For the boys race ^^^^^^^
anyone bitten?
Someone might've been scratched. It was more of a nuisance than an anything. The dogs would run in front of and around the runners, forcing some to actually stop and zig zag around them, only to be tripped up again a few meters later.
Yeah, that dog was annoying. It didn't affect the overall team results. And Alameda missing their top and fourth runners is unfortunate; it would have been extremely close.
It will be interesting to see how these times convert to Hayward since this is a new course.
