Some very good teams ran today. To give you an idea, check out the NCS pre-season rankings that were completed this past summer.

The quality of this invite - as mentioned by Albert - has really stepped up a big notch. Sr. Boys race was a sizzler with a pack of 5 that included Danny Stalters (northgate), Tyler Hanson( Miramonte), Adler Faulkner (Acalanes), Nolan Peterson (Washington) and Matt DeVries (San Ramon Valley) pressing the pace and gapping a strong field at the mile mark. Not sure of the first mile split but several mentioned it was 4:40's high. Stalters broke away on the hill with Peterson on his back and a strong chase from DeVries. Nothgates Danny Stalters finished first in a new course record at about 10:37 - shaving 7 second on Mike Rodericks mark frm 2008. Washingtons Nolan Peterson was second and also broke the course record with a 10:42. SRV's Matt DeVries was third in an impressive 10:48.

On the boys team front, SRV looked very strong with Hanze, WIlke and Pisenti all finishing between 11:00 and 11:11 and the rapidly improving Jr Jason Intravia 5th for SRV at around 11:26.
