Nice chat with her. It's going to be really interesting to see how she develops over the next two years. I was impressed by her knowledge of the sport, she was throwing out names of some of the best runners in the world like an old track nut. Looking forward to seeing her at the upcoming Capital Cross Challenge where she will likely be going head to head with Riley Chamberlain, Isabella Fauria and Cate Joaquin from St. Francis, and Sophia Karperos of Rio Americano. I believe this will be the first time Jesuit has their full top 5 in tact and want to show what they can do. As far as individuals on the boy's side, Matt Strangio would have to be the favorite, with Austin Vasquez of Whitney and Daniel Hernandez of Vacaville leading the chase pack. The Davis boys will also be looking to prove that their win at Lagoon Valley wasn't a fluke, should be a great day of XC in Sacramento.
