Why is it alphabetized?? Not wanting to hurt anybody's feelings? It wasn't like this last year.

What are the criteria for the CCS list? Is it the time or placement in the CCS meet only? There are girls with better times during the year in the 3-mile and 5K (some at the State Meet) that were left off the CCS HM list.

A group of coaches & journalists showed up at the CCS office before the post-CCS meeting happens.
It is open to anyone that wants to show up but you must be present for your vote to count.
We discuss each runner and vote on each runner and what "team" we think they should be on, majority rules.
There is no set criteria. Each person establishes their own "criteria" and each person gets one vote.

Thanks. I think the following girls were overlooked: Lemak, Colonna, Quinones. All had better 3M, 5K, and/or State times than a few on the HM list. Guess they needed a few more votes at the CCS office.

So who makes up the lists? Peter?

Who's Anti-Campo?

Is that a new school?

Lemak had awful strategy and didn't make it to 2.5 miles at league. She didn't make it to the finish line at the section meet. She is lucky that her team made state because quite frankly she didn't deserve to be there.

She is a great runner but her strategy was awful. Not all-CCS material this year in my opinion.

While slower than her earlier time of 18:47 at Crystal, Colonna still won her D5 CCS race. Does being a champion not count as much if it is D5? She went on to finish 8th at the State meet, in a time that beat at least 3 girls on the list. Her 3M time of 18:20 puts her 7th in the CCS this year, and 5K time at the Clovis Invitational puts her ahead of 5 girls on the list. Does she need better representation at the CCS office next year?
