2014 SJS Distance State Meet Contenders...

As with NCS and CCS, 3 qualify to the CA state Track and Field meet unless you make the 2014 At-Large Time Standards.  It's very possible I could have missed an athlete or two so please chim in below on those athletes.  Additional comments?

Girls 800m.

I think you might see some girls double - Kendall Derry could potentially make it in both 800 and 1600, and Fiona O'Keeffe could do the same in 1600 and 3200.

Sofia Castiglione from Davis could be a factor in the 1600.

The toughest parts of predicting track and field distance events is to first figure out what events might be chosen by certain athletes and if those athletes will double.

Time will tell but I will add those athletes you mentioned in a second event.

Carlos Cruz, McClatchy or Arturo Sotomayor, Roseville. I could see Nathan Wellington (Whitney) being strong as well.
