The Running Times Super 25

Girls' high school cross country rankings
Boys' high school cross country rankings

Both lists by Marc Bloom formerly of the Harrier.  Check out what CA teams made the list.  The first girls team is not a surprise as they have been a state power for the past few years.  After being under the radar during the pre-season, they have now shot up to the 3rd team in the country behind 2 powerhouse teams.

On the boys side, the first team ranked may be a surprise ahead of the usual who's who Southern Section power teams.  No Northern California boys' team made the list including the west region teams so the question is who is the best NorCal boys' XC team at the moment?

Right now you'd have to say Bellermine is the best in Norcal - they edged SRV at Lowell today and have run strong in the early season. On paper DLS has amazing potential and Hurlock and Schumann get health, they are again a powerhouse. SRV is strong as well - they had some illness on the team this week which may have slowed them down at Lowell.

I'm not sure who else in Norcal has the depth right now to hang with these three but Acalanes, Amador and Miramonte are all strong programs with the potential to put a strong 5 together at the right time.

Who am I missing?
