Does anyone know if Mount Eden or Casa Grande were holding runners out?

Check out the JV results. PSATs were held today.

Alright so Mt Eden put their three runner in the Jr-Sr race, but Casa Grande didn't run their 4 and 5. I wonder why Mt Eden did that...?

PSATs were the same day as the race which means that some people would not get back in time for the varsity race.

Maybe they're injured? How do you think both schools will do at NCS Div II?

Mt. Eden and Casa Grande might have finished 3rd and 4th respectively at the Mariner Invitational, but they are farther apart than they look.

Mt. Eden
#1 17:13 Arthur Ruvalcaba
#2 17:59 Marvin Nugal
#3 18:28 Giovani Perez
#4 18:54 David Nguyen
#5 19:20 Jordan Cruz
#6 19:24 Auburn Jordan

Casa Grande
#1 17:56 Austin Minnick
#2 18:41 Ben Tarango
#3 18:54 Daryn Cubba
#4 19:42 AJ Salazar
#5 19:54 Adam Lundquist
#6 19:55 Aaron DalPoggett

If Casa Grande's #4 and #5 didn't run, and if they were to finish consecutively after their #3 runner, they still wouldn't have a chance and that's without Mt. Eden's #3 runner.

To add on to that, I'm fairly certain the Casa Grande's actualy 4 and 5 runners are only 10-20 seconds faster than the 4 and 5 that ran at Mariner.

I think Mt.Eden will finish somewhere between 2nd to 4th at NCS and Casa Grande between 4th and 6th. This is not a strong division and is there for the taking.

The 2 good teams the large school Mariner Invitational easily beat the rest of the 9 school field. This was not one of the tougher initationals.
