Robert Miranda is ranked too high, Adrian Schroeder is ranked too low. He ran 14:09 at Woodbridge. I know that is an insanely fast course, but a 14:09 3 mile is insanely fast in any conditions/terrain.
Miranda is no longer undefeated. His 15:01 MtSac is a solid time but there have been faster converted times by people lower on the list. I would also consider Sam Lavorato on this list, running 15:08 at MtSac. These two D4 guys should have a nice battle at CCS and also at state.

We will see about Miranda. He will race Lavorato at CCS and Ullrich at state. All three are Div IV runners.

Lavorato was also considered for the top 10 after his Mt. SAC time but at the same Clovis meet, Colonna ran 15:26.10 and Lavorato ran 15:39.70. I don't think anybody else should be knocked off the list, right?

Del Oro girls should be under consideration. They easily beat the times of Rio Americano at the last few meets

Why is Granada ranked lower than De La Salle? They've beaten DLS in every matchup and had a fantastic run at Mariner

Thank you for the comments. Both very valid and changes are made in the posted rankings.

I am unclear as to why Palo Alto is ranked #4, yet Willow Glen keeps dropping in the rankings. Didn't WG just comfortably beat Palo Alto head-to-head at the Monterey Bay Invitational at Toro Park?

I don't believe Palo Alto ran their full team there but I will double check.

With two major invite wins this year and pressing both Gillian Wagner and Colleen McCandless to the wire, you have to soon consider Hannah Chau a top 10 NCS runner

Any thoughts on who goes to NXN for CA this year? Looks like a safe bet that we will get a wildcard pick in addition to the regular slots.

Teams or individuals? Boys or girls?

Boys teams

Woodcreek girls (1st place D2 at Clovis) and Jesuit boys (looks like runners are back based on Bronco Invite) seem deserving for under consideration.

Any possibility of adding Lowell boys in consideration after Mt Sac and being right behind dougherty valley at Crystal Springs?

Any thoughts on adding Lowell boys to the considerations listhe? Trailed right behind dougherty valley at crystal springs and beat del oro at Mt Sac.

I see Great Oak and Loyola as locks simply because they are in Division I. Seeing as how historically great NorCal teams have been screwed out of NXN wildcard berths (Mountain View '09, Jesuit '15), it would be incredible to see one of the Division II Norcal schools to take an at-large berth.

How does the CA NXN work? How are teams picked and how many go? Are there wild cards, how many and where do they come from?

The top (I believe 20 teams) are merged together and the top 2 teams automatically advance to NXN as the California representatives. The next best teams are considered as an at-large berth and typically CA does get another qualifier here. The top 5 individuals automatically qualify for NXN but in the past, some runners choose to go the Footlocker route which has more history when it comes to individuals.

I guess the same can be said for El Camino regarding Del Oro...

Homestead girls had great times at MtSac. Does not appear that they have had chance to run head to head against Santa Cruz. Should be excellent race to watch at CCS.

@5:24 - But Homestead and Santa Cruz are in different Divisions, so they won't directly compete against each other at CCS.

I'm with Lynbrook rankings...Santa Cruz over Homestead.
