SJND ran pretty well. That freshman teare is a stud.
Agreed on both ends. They are very good and will be strong favorites to win NCS and state once again this year.
They would have won the D4 race. Time for them to make it into the NorCal rankings.
They would have won the D4 state championships last year too. They definitely ran faster then quite a few higher ranked teams.
Aside from the XCStats course converter or some other converter, does anyone have some rules of thumb for comparing Mt. Sac times to Woodward Park and/or the Hayward NCS course?
Apples an Oranges.
Mt. Sac benefits the hill runner, very steep ups and downs. You have to be strong and great at downhill. So it really depends on how good you are at the steep hills which means for some they run faster there, some slower.
This is what I've been sent from some SS coaches:
SS (MSAC-2.93) - * 1.0229 & 1.0208, about :25 for girls, :20 for guys
