Bella Vista girls team wins De La Salle without #1 runner and two of the 7 sick...watch out for them

Thanks for the info Bella Vista coach.

Not sure that was the BV coach...she is extremely modest and that post seemed a bit of bragging and not her style. BV is good though and should have a good season if their team can stay healthy.

I'm definitely not a coach, and have no affiliation to the school, just like seeing St. Francis and Davis being challenged for SJS supremacy

Jackson Crose ran 15:32 I think at Farmer today with a slightly rainy and muddy course. Madison Ricks was the fastest girl in about 18:15. I didn't get exact times.

Those results will be posted shortly. Madison Ricks won't show up in the results because she went off course somewhere but she did look very good and was clearly the best runner out there.

The course at Hayward High was not well-marked and there were not officials directing the runners at key turns. Madison actually ran about 150 yards further than the marked course.

Anybody know about yolo championships yet?

De La Salle was a true Cross Country race today....pouring rain and very muddy!
Thank you to Race Officials for not cancelling the varsity races. Wise choice having the VB race a short course after watching the VG falling and sliding down the hill.

I'm assuming the De La Salle course was short and blair hurlock ran 3 miles sub-14

I heard a hill was removed from the race course for the varsity boys.

Any Farmer results yet?

Looking at the map of the DLS race, isn't there only one hill? And if they shortened the course as well, it was basically a flat, wet, 2.xx mile race. Still a great time for Hurlock!

I was at Farmers and the course was quite wet and muddy, but not as bad as last year... girls varsity ran in downpour... guys varsity was clear for first mile and then started raining hard again...

At Farmers, small school world, Athenian looked really good with a front runner and then a good pack, Sonoma Academy only had 3 but they ran well, Calistoga had a team, but they are young and College Prep showed pretty well.... didn't really pay attention to the larger schools.

Miramonte's girls won farmer's by a large margin. Pretty exciting, I wonder what they can do in this year's competitive D3 of NCS.
