While I put the rankings together for this division, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below. Who are the state meet team contenders (boys and girls)? Who will win the individual titles? What runners improved the most during this past track and field season? Who are the teams flying under the radar at this time?

miramontes flying under the radar
hahaha no they're not... i think they proved a point this track season and will not be underestimated.
We all know Campo and Verdon are so dominant on the girls side, but is it possible that Acalanes can beat them? And I don't know how "under the radar" Las Lomas is, but they had 4 freshwomen at NCS...Redwood returns their top 6...Petaluma returns all 7...Maria Carrillo has a solid 1-2 punch...Its gonna be tight just like last year.
I really don't know what to make of the boys...Another great battle between Petaluma and Campo like every year. Miramonte would be under the radar if not for Hanson's monster year (2:03/4:35/9:45 according to milesplit).
Still waiting and wanting D1...save the best for last, right?
I feel that Miramonte boys are definitely in contention for the section title considering that four out of their top five runners were juniors last year, and they didn't have their strongest race last year.
Should be a battle between campolindo and piner. Campo, piner, and miramonte should all have a fantastic top two but i think that the depth after that will take miramonte out of the running.
