While I am taking care of the NCS rankings, I would like to ask the visitors to this site about CCS.
If you have any information in regards to any teams or divisions, feel free to share in the comment section below. If you are shy and would rather just share with me, feel free to email me at albertjcaruana@gmail.com.
So, who are the individual and team favorites for each division? What is going to be the toughest division? Who is going to have an impact at the state level? What teams really improved during the track and field season? What teams have been hurt the most by graduation? Where are the freshmen studs attending next year?

Bellarmine the favorite, finished 6 in D1 last year and return the top 3 from the state team, while adding their injured sophomore from last year, who I heard is just as impressive as the top 3, not to mention have you seen some of the times their frosh and soph kids put out during the year. Sophomore with a 4:40 and I don't even know if he ran xc I can't find him on any results, and another with a sub 10 performance, I assume one of them is the one that got injured but it looks like they reload. Gonna be tough to beat them, but I feel someone will put together a team that will give them a run for their money.
In D5, I'd say Crystal Springs is the favorite. They return all 7 runners from last years team, which made state and York has to replace several of its top runners.
For D4 its more of a tossup. Stevenson, a third place finisher at state, is losing 3 of its top 5 runners. They could be vulnerable to Carmel and SLV, two teams that return the bulk of their runners.
in D3 SI is the favorite, mostly because every other team is taking hits due to graduation, while they return 4 scorers from state. Willow Glen is losing just about everyone and SH is losing its top guy.
In D2 it looks like it will be a tight race. Last year the top 3 teams, Los Gatos, Los Altos and Mountain Veiw, were separated by 15 pts, but all three teams lose their top runner. Los Gatos is probably the most able to replace their top runner because Grant foster was top 20 at state and they have good depth behind him.
DI is all about Bellarmine. They return their top 3 guys from the 6th place team at the state meet last year. they also dealt with injuries last year. at this point nobody has the depth to really challenge them.
Bellarmine is definitely the favorite again. They return a bunch of people and Charles de Anda was injured during XC but looked perfect during track. In division 3 I think SI is the favorite, they are returning all but 2 from there top 7, and they had a sophomore injured last year who should be ready to go. I think they'll run away with it since no one else in their division looks strong. Quick question, did Willow Glen move up to division one. Oh, and Ciaran Murphy, junior from SI should be the favorite, at least fro division 3 if not all of CCS.
I think Aragon will be the dark horse in D2.Christian Pedro missed 9 months in 2010 due to injury.Just finished sophomore track season 9:28 3200.All runners are coming back.
