St. Joseph Notre Dame senior Cooper Teare (Ben Crawford photo on the left) will be making his 2nd sub 4 attempt this Saturday at the Sacramento Meet of Champions. His first attempt at the world famous Mt. SAC Relays resulted in a mighty close 4:00.16 effort.
Now it's your turn to predict his final time on Saturday. Will he dip under 4? If so, what will his time be? The person who gets the winning time or the closest will get... ideas for winning entry? A guest post?

Windy. Not run on mondo.
4:03.21.
Hope I'm wrong & he gets it tho.
3:59.00
Less then 10 mph winds and new track surface....I predict 3:58.5
His chances will be greatly increased if there are some other entrants that will take it out fast! But the rest of the field is not so deep...and will probably just try to hang on.
per the article on milesplit, there will be a rabbit for the first two laps. 3:59.80
4:01.28
I got him clocking a 3:59.56. Picked him to win Arcadia here, and the rabbit will help the first two lap pace, after that, Cooper will bring it home with a brutally strong kick to bang out a sub 4. Good luck.

Really depends on how the wind decides to behave. I therefore predict anywhere from 3:59.70 (what I believe his current ability level to be) to 4:03.00 (realistically acknowledging the setting in which he will run it)
4:02.10 hoping for a sub 4
4:01.29 BUT i CHEATED :-)
What's the prize for the winner?
