Robinson's time of 9:49.94 breaks the previous meet record of 10:03.09 by Scotts Valley's Vanessa Fraser. 2nd place runner, Gillian Meeks Robinson's teammate, also broke the previous meet record with her 10:02.49. Robinson also break the meet in the mile with a time of 4:56.54. The previous meet record of 4:57.90 dated back to 1984.
