That 400 workout is a joke
18 miles at 6:40
3 x ( 4 x (5 x (400 @61-62)))
110 yd jog rest
1 lap jog reset between sets of 5
1 mile jog around between sets of 20
All done barefoot on grass
former norcal runner here...did a workout recently that was two sets of 600, 400, 200 with 3 minutes jogging rest between sets, 400 jog in 2:30 after the 600 and 200 jog in 1:15 and the 400.
2:27.4, 58.8, 28.7
2:28.8, 59.5, 28.5
brutal!
