Very impressive two days for Bellarmne. Congrats to coach McCrystle and the athletes. Any splits on the 4 X 8 and DMR for them?

A HUGE Congrats to Coach Patrick and his boys (esp. Alex Scales & not to be overshadowed Meika too!!!)
Mari Friedman in the Invite 800 after an impressive 4x800 lead the day before!!

They both really represented CCS well at Arcadia this weekend! Can't wait to see them at State rocking it...

And the Twins' showing as well after Stanford's impressive Mile Run last weekend...And clearly the boys 3200M Invite NorCal really threw down with Cooper's insane showing, along with Luis and Vernau. WOWZAH!!!

Still blown away by Claudia Lane's performance in the 3200. In both FootLocker and this weekend's race at Arcadia she showed the sort of guts and tactics that will serve her well as she develops and competes on larger stages. Brie Oakley is a boss and Lane, by going straight to the front and keeping her outside the whole way forced her to run another 30-40 meters, which might have made the difference at the end. Only a sophomore and the sky is the limit, VERY impressive. Also really happy to see Freshman Matt Strangio put up an excellent mark. He is still clearly learning how to pace himself, but he is showing those things you can't teach, the desire to compete and mix it up with the best. Going to be fun to watch his development over the next couple of years.
