MOST IMPRESSIVE ATHLETE THIS WEEKEND? BOYS? GIRLS?

The preview for all high school events at Stanford this weekend has now been posted at this LINK. If you spot any errors or have any information about any of the events, feel free to add it below in the comment section.

The heats for the 3k and DMRs on Friday have been posted at this LINK. This is a first for this invitational as in the past, you had to find out your heat at the meet. NEW

I will be posting a meet preview on Thursday for every high school event taking place this coming Friday and Saturday. Armijo senior Luis Grijalva, who just committed to Northern Arizona University, will be participating in the open 1500 instead of the high school portion of the meet. NEW

In the meantime, here is some information for the meet.

Time Schedule LINK. UPDATED

Accepted high school entries LINK.

Live results will be posted at this LINK.

If you want to see how much you owe for your entry fee, here you go LINK.

Until Thursday, feel free to post any comments, questions or suggestions on what you would like to see in the preview. What is going to be the most competitive event? What race are you most excited to watch?

I have been attending the Stanford Invitational for over 20 years and the heat sheets have always been posted the day of the meet after everyone has checked in.

Kind of annoying Arcadia says "Thursday night" they'll release entries but don't give a time. My best is its a shameless attempt to get website hits.

No, that's pretty typical of Rich Gonzalez.

3:02+, 51+, 1:53+, 4:17+ = 10:03+ DMR For Bellarmine at Stanford.

Congratulations from an outsider for a fantastic team effort!

Yup Boys - Bellarmine's DMR by far...(no one can touch them in CA, sadly the same team won't be running in Arcadia due to individual events) But WOWZAH again! It's been more than 24 hrs and I'm still trying to close my mouth...Congrats Coach Patrick & those boys!
Girls - Lane, Mari's 4:52 DMR leg along with her teammates.

BTW, why are we bagging Arcadia in a Stanford post...I heard this year there were tons of more schools so it took longer than usual...unless you managed a meet that big before, just wake up on Friday morning and check it patiently after all IT IS OK to wait...smh...

Anyone know why the Stanford results disappeared from Athletic .net? They were up last night but are now gone.

Most impressive race: girls mile. 7 under 5 mins! Wow. Most encouraging: boys 3000m. 3 Sophs under 9:00, 2 more and a frosh under 9:10. NorCal distance is going to stay competitive for a long time to come.

The Girls mile for several years has been averaging around 7 sub 5:00 minutes.

Possible mistake on Stanford Invite results so had to be uploaded once again. I am sure they will be back up and official very soon. The results are already posted on recordtiming.com and at ca.milesplit.com.
