2012 Dan Gabor Program
Who is Dan Gabor?
Dan Gabor Time Schedule (Rough Estimate)
Dan Gabor Time Schedule (Every race thanks to Marty Beene)

So now that you have the program, which race is going to be the most competitive?  Who is going to run the fastest times on Friday in the 1600m., 800m., and 3200m. (boys and girls)?  Who is going to be the biggest surprise?

I will be at the meet on Friday and will do my best to tweet some of the top marks.

Ohhhhhh the Fehrnstrom, Fuhriman, Deul battle in the mile is going to be fantastic, along with the Joyce/Luna 2-mile. Also, it's crazy that the fastest heat of the men's 400 contains 3 of the 4 legs of Amador Valley's 4x4 team, not even including their anchor.

What tragic yet inspiring stories of Dan Gabor and Monica Vanwegan. Having their parents present the 800m awards is the perfect touch!

Personally, what I love about these big, highly competitive invitationals is not so much individual marquee matchups (although those are definitely fun to watch!), but that it's like watching the progress of any young athlete: the early heats are usually the newer runners, while the last ones are the polished veterans. It's a great opportunity for runners to both see where they are relative to other runners, and where they can end up.

Don't know if everyone will run but that 3rd heat of the Girl's 3200 is gonna be barn burner!!!

Verdon will obviously be on another level but there's enough talent in that chase pack to make the race intense down to the finish. Maxwell, Pianin, Abdo, Bayliss, etc.
