Mountain View hired three spring sport coaches -- Adam Petke (baseball), M. Anthony Chen (boys volleyball) and JeTrout (track and field). Trout will also coach cross country.
Petke, a former player at Cal, has coached and developed baseball players in the Bay Area for more than 10 years, according to the school's release. Petke previously led Lowell-San Francisco to city and regional titles.
Chen, better known as "Coach M.A.C." to the volleyball community, is in his 16th year as a volleyball coach at the middle school and high school levels.
Trout is a certified coach for USA Track and Field, USA Cycling, USA Triathlon and the National Federation of High School Associations. He has coached distance and cross country at Branham-San Jose and Notre Dame-San Jose, as well as West Valley College-Saratoga.
