Congrats to Kim,

She has come a long ways from her high school days. She was good in high school but looks so fantastically fit now.

She was a very solid high school runner but didn't give off a future Olympian vibe. She has definitely been a great example for runners who may not superstars in high school but continue to compete and improve in college and beyond.

It is also a reminder that you don't have to go to a place like Oregon to have a great career as a professional runner. I bet many athletes would adjust more easily to college running if they attended a less "hard core" school.

Don't get me wrong, schools like Oregon are obviously great for many athletes, but not for everyone.

Going to Oregon guaranteed you a boat load of Nike gear too but you can't go wrong going to any UC schools!
