Boys and Girls 1mile will be competitive. Boys 3k should be pretty fast

I agree! I can't wait to see how the athletes perform.

Go St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots! Gabe Arias and the distance medley team will both make strong showings.

Is there a schedule of events?

Predictions on winners for 1600 and 3k?

Anonymous said...

Gonna be a nice race in the mile with estifanos and hamilton.

Boys mile will be OK. Estifanos is definitely the class of the field there.

Really excited about the girls mile though. Anna maxwell, Nikki Hiltz, Vanessa Fraser and Julia Maxwell? And with girls like Sarah Robinson, Faith Makau, Kylie Goo and Madison Ricks? Deepest girls mile at a NorCal meet in years!

Estifanos will be beaten this season in the 1600/3200 within the CCS. He is definitely great and one of the favorites here, but no one should just give him the win. Lets hope to see a great race next week!

Unfortunately the best runners don't always end racing each other as happened last year with the 3 fastest mile times taking place in 3 different heats.

Will See If even If Fraiser even Runs, she Usually Dodges Maxwell and Hiltz in there League Meets! Hiltz has never competed against Fraiser all through High School!

The Boys 400 with Kurtz vs Carter could be great - top two state times I think.

All the distance events look pretty solid too. The short sprints don't look as good. McKinley is the class of the field in the 100.

Darnel Roberson gave McKinley a run for his money when they raced at Stocking Super 7. Should be fast

I agree with Albert in regards to the "best runners" not always being in the same heat. Thereby not being able to achieve the best times given their respective competition. I hope that the conditions will be such that all heats will be competitive.

Well Just Left Meet Between SLV and Scotts Valley! Maxwell runs a solo 4:51.2 1600m and Comes Back in a 2:13 800m to Fraser's 2:20/21 and Maxwell comes from behind in 4x400 in what I got a Low 57 split!

^ No offense to anonymous, but why does SLV blast every single race week in and week out... Sometimes twice a week. Why run that kind of race in a solo time trial? Save something for Stanford! Or League! Or CCS! Or State!

I know some of the SLV kids deliver in the post season but I don't get it... SLV is the Ying to Chuck's Army's Yang.

Clearly those SLV posts are by someone on the team: athlete, coach, parent.

As for Fraiser dodging Maxwell last I checked they were in the same league, section & state. And last I checked Fraiser has two xc championships to Maxwell's zero.

How you like them apples.

On a side note both are amazing athletes, I just find the parent/coach comments a little funny that's all.

I Posted earlier! Not A SLV Parent/student or Coach but someone who does live in the Valleys actually SV and was a coach at one time, But It doesn't Look Like every week racing! Johnson has Missed a few Meets! Maxwell Looks Like she hasn't raced since Willow Glenn March 2nd! Maxwell and Johnson on the Hand! It Looked Like it went well for them the Last two years on the Track! Maxwell heard she Had some Food allergies problem at end of season and Iron Issues! Just Glad to see Her Back! Usually isn't racing a Interval work Out it! Looked like all the Runners ran one race and the 4X400, Maxwell yes the 3 races but evenly separated and Johnson looked like Speed in just the 400 and 4x400 and He looked liked He coasted Last week on his times! On the Schedule for the stronger runners looks like this was there 3rd or 4th meet where everybody! Johnson Looks Like only Invite K-Bell! Maxwell Only Invite Willow Glenn So Far and If I remember Right if your Not Racing aren't you Doing Intervals but In More Repetitions! Also Huge Fan of the SCCAL and Some Great Duels have happen in this League! Hiltz and Maxwell Last year in 1600m and 800m and it didn't seem to stop them Both! Also Hiltz hasn't Never competed against Fraser Period in Track! Possibly Tomorrow at Garlic for the First Time!

Excessive capitalization, overuse of the exclamation mark, and grammar/spelling errors to boot...

Hmm, I spy the author of these posts...can you?

And just for giggles, I will lob this out there anonymously. You know--to be fair and all.

Anonymous! Can You Please Leave Me and My Team (Athletes) out of these Conversations Please! This Site should Be about Positive things and Not Negatively towards any athletes or Programs regardless of school! I Have watched way to many things over the years when discussions come up for example, Carlmont, Mt View, Chucks Army and a few others! We are all here to have our athletes strive for the very Best that they can do and I don't Need any Help on doing that! I feel I do Have a good Idea who You are since you Mentioned you were at our League Meet Yesterday!

Anonymous @ 8:50 am. Post of the year!

Rob, don't take it personally. People will talk about the good teams, runners and coaches and always call into question what you're doing.

And I too will post anonymously, just to have fun and out of fairness of course.

Back to the race. Predictions?

8:42 AM and 11:44 AM above. Curious.

Is it 400m hurdles instead of 300 or is that a typo?

Anonymous said...

Why would Stanford mark their collegiate track where USATF nationals have been held and international competitions for high school 300 hurdles?

They run 400 hurdles.

Dont need the attitude... but thanks.
