Dan Gabor Heat Sheets and Schedule

Heat Sheets for Distance and Sprint Events
Dan Gabor Schedule (Friday and Saturday)

What is the most competitive race?  Any surprises?  Who is going to post the fastest times on Friday for 800, 1600 and 3200?

Boys 3200 and girls 800 will be fast. Also, the Maxwell Pianin battle in the girls 3200 should be good.

Looks like an offer year for Boys 1600 & 800 but a close field for boys 3200.

I'm surprised not to see Wilke from SRV in the 800.

Madison Ricks ran a solo 2:13.55 last year so let's see what she opens with this year.

The boys 800m. should be a good race with 4-6 solid runners in the fast heat.

It will be interesting to see what Julia Maxwell, Jena Pianin and Diribe Abdo run in the 3200 in a rematch of 3 of the 4 state meet qualifiers from last year's NCS MOC track and field meet.

Where's Goltra?

Goltra has to sit out 30 days for Track and Field since he competed for Las Lomas last year in that sport as well. He will be good to go next year for cross country and won't have to miss anymore meets.

damn shame the boys 1600 isn't more stacked. thats always a real fun one to watch

Is the transfer rule NCS or CIF?What if an athlete played football, basketball and baseball?Would he have to sit out the 30 days before each sport?Pretty goofy rule. One 30 day sit out period should be sufficient.

That is a new CIF rule this year. You have to sit out 30 days for every sport you play but with no questions asked. Before, you applied for a transfer and were only eligible if your transfer was accepted.
