The reason I lean toward Cross Country over Track, is the team unity aspect. I loved reading about the Campo girls in this article and how EVERY team member set a PR at the state meet. While Verdon is obviously a stud, she counted on her teammates to push her during workouts and it made her a better runner in the end. I love that.
