any word on splits from those BOD and St Joes DMRs?

Also does anyone have video of the Dan Gabor meet? Especially the fast heat of the boy's 800.

Watched many Gabor meets since 2008 and it seemed most were rainy and cold and the boys 1600 times were always in the 4:20's or teens. I'm starting to wonder if that level of competition was the exception. In the recent years a large group of east bay 1600 runners like Duehl, Fuhriman, Kane Fehrnstrom, Colaco, Ortolan, Hardy and Holmgren fueled the competition and pushed the envelope. Hoping this meet was just a tactical blip and faster times are coming.

they came around at 3:30 for 1200 at gabor, so, yeah, i'd say it was a wee tad bit tactical

Yeah tactical races are the occasional curveball, you never know where the tactical race will strike lol. To me the biggest surprise in recent memory was the 2010 CIF when Erik Olsen came in around 4:22 and the lead I think was 4:21, Erik won NCS the week before that year at ~ 4:12.

You race to win. If this was set up for fast times they'd be rabbits like in the Stanford distance meets.

Regarding next week's set of invitationals, anyone have any idea when St. Francis Invitational heat sheets will get posted?

And how about Dublin Distance Fiesta heat-sheets (which were supposed to come out yesterday)- has anyone seen them, and could post a link?? Thanks!

SF should be up Tue night. They had lots of entries. So many that they will be using 9 lanes for the 100 & 100H.
