I know the schedule changed this year... Are we going to see a rotating schedule now?

The schedule is usually along the lines of what you saw this year. I believe they shortened the time between races this year and possibly some other minor tweeks. Others can comment on those.

Who cares about the schedule, weather, etc. when the course changes and they can't get the distance correct from year to year. Give me one reason the course was 55 meters shorter??? The good thing about courses like Toro, Crystal, Sac and Woodward is you can compare your current runners with the past. Stanford has really screwed up. This is the reason that no one shows up. Do you remember just 4 years ago when 7 of the top 10 D1 teams in the State were at Stanford? Just because the numbers are big doesn't mean the invite is good.

If there was another quality meet around at the same time we'd go to it. Stanford is losing its luster to me. I wish I could find a place to put on a meet just to give people a choice.

Many people have complained about Stanford for many years but many of us still go back because it's a chance to compete in a big time meet against big time competition in this part of the state.

They have heard our complaints and they did change a few things this year. I know many were upset at getting rid of the JV races but one option is to run your varsity at Stanford and send your younger and JV runners to Westmoor which a lot of teams already do.

is there any evidence behind the rumors that the course was 55 meters shorter?
