Martinez Relays Results...

More results to be posted as I get them.  I tweeted as many of the results as I could from the Dublin Distance Fiesta.

I believe Josh Mercado came back and won the fast heat in the 3200.

Campolindo won the girls' DMR, as Carrie Verdon got the baton in 3rd place behind Half Moon Bay and Monte Vista.  She clocked a sub 5:10 1600 to anchor for the win.

In the boys' DMR, Bellarmine won the over 2nd place Davis HS as the Bellarmine anchor shot away from his closest pursuers during the 3rd lap.

More to come...

Mountain View Boys (10:37) and Valley Christian Girls (12:37) crushed the DMR at St. Francis. Rowe ran away with it in the last mile while Valley was unchallenged after the 1200.

The Boys 800 was especially hot:
1 MacQuitty, Philip Palo Alto 1:52.37
2 Strum, Nathan Pioneer (San Jos 1:53.33
3 McNulty, Kyle Scotts Valley 1:55.32
4 Rios, Alan Ann Sobrato 1:57.05
5 Moore, Jarrett Sacred Heart Cat 2:01.17

Erin Robinson(Gunn), Vanessa Fraser (Scotts Valley) and Erin Hicks (Lost Altos) looked strong in the 3k as well.

With so many top 3200 runners graduating it looked like the girls race was wide open but lots of people are stepping up!

anchor for bell was junior kyle rae, the whole bell relay team consisted of 3 juniors and a sophomore so it should be good to see that team improve

Kyle Rae was very impressive making a very strong move on the 3rd lap. His unofficial time for the 1600 on the DMR was 4:19.
