I guess Davis has a solid freshman coming in so they could defiantly challenge st Francis again. Should be fun to watch these two top state teams again

The Lincoln boys should be strong in division 1 next year placing 3rd at sections last year and only losing 1 of their top 5

I wouldn't be surprised if Bella Vista's girls took out Davis and St. Francis, if not the entire state

Not sure how I can see that unless if Davis and st Francis's runners all have down years.... Bella vista wasn't close to st Francis and and davis's Level at sections and states and they all bring back most of their best runners.

If I am correct, St. Francis placed 5 girls under 19 mins at Sections on Willow Hills which is significant (despite being a somewhat shorter course) - 4 of those girls return if I am not mistaken. Davis Sr. placed 2 girls under 19 mins and 2 under 19:30 mins - all 4 of those girls return if I am not mistaken. I like Bella Vista and it really could be a huge sleeper - but that is a long hill to climb. Actually at least two long hills - freeway hill and the School loop.

I do wish that I had the time to attend some SJS section meets (but I live in East Bay so it's not practical). I grew up in West Sacramento and we ran against Davis, Vacaville, Armijo, Fairfield, Woodland, Galt and Washington (Broderick) in the old Delta League. It's great to see the prominence of the Davis team, especially the girls (who didn't even have the option to compete back in the 60's).
