Didn't Carlmont actually run faster than Bellarmine?

80:32 is faster that 80:35 in every running result I've ever seen.

That is correct but the placing is determined by the total team points. It's possible to have a faster team time than teams who finished ahead of you in the team scoring.

If scored only as a dual between Carlmont & Bellarmine the scores are:

Bells=26
Carlmont=30
