With Fiona O'Keeffe back at it this week (4:56/10:42), I have to wonder if she'll be anchoring the Davis DMR since she doesn't show up on the heat sheets of the individual events? And with Vernau running both of his 3,200s under 9:10 (one in windy rain and the other a solo effort in a league meet), I would expect to see him get under 9:00 on Saturday. He's not the type to sit back and kick, so if anybody wants to beat him they are going to have to go with him and try to hang. Expecting to see a lot of carnage in a really strong field in the Sombrero 3,200.
I think the boys 3200 will be the most competitive race at the DDF. It's LOADED!
Boy's 3200 should be fast. With Vernau and Teare to push the pace, I think we could definitely see a sub-9.
