While I appreciate the Facebook videos of the 1600 and 3200 at the Sac State Classic, and commend the winners, as well, I think the conditions at Dan Gabor were at least as bad, if not worse. We were unable to even videotape the race, as the driving rain torrents obscured the camera lens and the umbrella used to try to shield the camera, turned inside out several times....let alone watching the kids sprint through several inches of water, from the 1600 through the 3200. Loved the one girl who wore a swim cap and goggles...how did the times stack up between the venues? Cooper Teare did sub 4:00 in the 1500 a couple weeks prior...and a soggy wind slowed 4:25 1600. The top 10 from Dan Gabor was very tight despite the bath!
