This past Saturday, Monte Vista senior Brooke Starn ran 16:55 at the Mt. SAC Invitational to record the fastest time for girls throughout the weekend. Here is my interview with Brooke during last track season. It's definitely worth the read as she discusses her progression, some of her challenges and some great advice for age group stars.

I am always amazed at what great kids are attracted to this sport, and am truly thankful that my kids get the chance to run in an area with great talent and people like Brooke. Albert, thanks for bring these interviews to us and for showing off the sport in the way you do.
