A little late no?

Couldn't you just take the results from the section meet. Seems simple enough to me!

Looks like the Davis Girls will be the powerhouse team next year, as they have the most returning runners from this list:

Fiona O'Keeffe - Sophomore - Davis Sr. HS - D1 Champion at State (16:58) and Section (17:20), NXN Invitee, 4th individually
Sofia Castiglioni - Freshman - Davis Sr. HS - SJS 18:18 3rd place in D1, State 17:54 15th place, NXN Invitee, 3rd at USATF JO's
Giulia McIsaac - Junior - Davis Sr. HS - SJS 19:12 7th place in D1, State 18:30, NXN Invitee
Maggie McManis - Junior - Davis Sr. HS - SJS 19:35 10th place in D1, State 18:52, NXN Invitee
Abigail Fisk - Freshman - Davis Sr. HS - SJS #1 non-Varsity freshman 13:01 - 2nd fastest SJS F/S time since 2007

It's unclear which boys team will emerge as the leader, but Jesuit has two strong sophomores to build around:

Michael Lackner - Sophomore - Jesuit HS - SJS 16:32, State 16:19
Sean Kurdy - Sophomore - Jesuit HS - SJS 16:41, State 16:03

for these rankings SJS Section meet is weighted more heavily than CIF State meet - Why?

Most year-end rankings take into consideration all season races, as the season progresses.

These SJS teams seem biased (around section meet) and to be a waste of time.

"Most year-end rankings take into consideration all season races, as the season progresses." - Good luck in your endeavor to find a person with that kind of time. In XC all that really matters is the end. If you did great at Stanford and Clovis and slipped at the end, you did something wrong.

"These SJS teams seem biased (around section meet) and to be a waste of time." - Tell that to the people on the list.

"Couldn't you just take the results from the section meet. Seems simple enough to me!" - Yeah, but an excellent performance at the state meet should not be ignored.

"A little late no?" - Has track started?

"for these rankings SJS Section meet is weighted more heavily than CIF State meet - Why?" - Because.

"Drew Childs from Bella Vista is a Junior." - Thanks, Harold.

Well it is a little late, I mean the "all-section" team came out after all-nor cal. So there that is.

I would like to propose a fool proof system. All-league is the top finishers at the league meet. All section are the top finishers at the section meet. All state from the state meet. All-American from the national meets. You don't see the NCAA voting on who deserves all-America honors for cross country. It's from the national meet. It is the great thing about our sport, we all race the same course on the same day.

If the "end" matters most, why is the SJS section meet weighted more heavily?

Your statement contradicts the posted rankings.

Man, lots of nitpickers lately! Looks like this list is basically top SJS performers, with a heavy eye towards Sections and States combined. Pretty simple to me.

Also, what's with the criticism of the methodology, but without any specific examples of why it matters?

In conclusion: If you don't have something nice to say, or at least meaningful discussion to contribute, either pipe down or start your own blog and do it there.
