Nice list.
What about the girls? The CCS girls have been more successful than the boys over the past 10-15 years.
Is this for girls or boys?
Thank you for this list. I think these stats are clear proof of two things:
1) The larger the school, the better team you have.
2) The more affluent areas are dominant. (Not necessarily the case with say basketball, football, track but certInly appears to be so in xc).
And why would McCrystal do a list for the girls? I'm sure there are plenty of people obsessed with teenage girls here to churn one at. But my guess you'll see one from McCrystal about the time they field a girls team.
Are the NCS DIV pre season rankings coming soon?

I suspect that you're the one obsessed with teenage girls.
Just accusing people of being "obsessed with teenage girls" is quite revealing.
Actually as a Father I am concerned about the obsession male coaches seem to show their female athletes. With the number of coaches displaying predatory behavior and having a sexual relationship with their athletes does alarm me, and I hope it would you as well.

Think twice before speaking.
I won't even say anything else.
What Patrick did to create this list is he went to the link below:
http://www.prepcaltrack.com/ATHLETICS/XC/ccs_stat.htm
Copied the Boys data (into Excel I'm guessing) and then added the data from 2007 thru 2013.
The same can be done for the girls if someone is so inclined to do so.
