If you would like to nominate an athlete or coach for an interview, please drop me a line at albertjcaruana@gmail.com or mention the name in the comment section below. I would especially like to get names from the Sac-Joaquin Section and the Northern Section. Who would you like to see interviewed? What athletes are really rolling this fall and you would like to find out how they have improved so much? What coaches have their teams heading toward the big time in November?

How about Louis Rosales the Piner coach? He's done a great job with that program.
I am on it. I should have an interview with him posted by the end of this week.
How about Karlie Garcia from Oakmont High School? A Phenom her freshman year, sat out her entire Soph. year, and back as a Phenom her Jr. year. We all like to know what she is thinking.
How about the runners from Berkeley High..the recently arrival of the Abdo clan from Ethiopia. I would assume their English would be limited but it would be an extremely interesting story.
Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming.
how about nick ratto
Both of the Bella Vista coaches have done a great job of building up their young talent to a serious team threat. It would be interesting to get their take on SJS competition this year.
ratto! ratto!
Aidan Goltra, see a bunch of his races and ive always been impressed. It would be interesting to know more about him
Is Nick Ratto related to Ray Ratto the senior insider for comcast? Thought he lived in Alameda too!
nick ratto for sure!
totally agree with Goltra. Has Carrie Verdon been interviewed? I feel like that's an obvious one. I think Karlie Garcia would be good, too. Getting her take on her early success and then injury last year and seeing what she's learned would be great.
connor mccarthy from amador is having a great season so far.
How about Anna Maxwell?
Ray Ratto is his dad's cousin.
I'd second Louis Rosales of Piner. spoke with him at Dan Gabor last year...he's got this program on the raise.
Alex Conner of Sonoma Valley High is having a break out year judging by his performances at De La Salle and Stanford.
Andie Von Eschen from Lick-Wilmerding!
Two more people I just thought of (and to help with the SJS list, since everyone wants NCS): Madeleine Ankhelyi (Vista Del Lago's #1/#2 if Clare Carroll is fully healthy), Marisa Carino (Oakmont's #2, just a soph), and whoever is the St. Francis girls coach. They have an awesome team.
Still like to hear from Parker Duell at SRV. Had his ups and downs, but a pretty inspirational guy
Evan Molineux from De La Sale, I swear you won't regret it.
Jack Bordoni from Bellarmine!
Julia Maxwell from Branson...a super star!
