It's PATHETIC to me how horrible our track & field news coverage is in Contra Costa County. CC Times, Tri-Valley Herald, and friends have literally ZERO coverage of NCS. They cover so many other sports with far less participation. Cancelled my subscription.

It's the same everywhere. Coaches have to keep calling in times/marks and scores following meets and pumping up their athletes in order for newspapers to cover the sport.

Some newspapers do a better job of covering track but in these times, most don't have specific people covering track so we have to get the information to them.

Some runners really breaking through this season... most notably Nina Anderson and Lauren Croshaw.
