Catching up with St. Mary's Stockton senior, Karl Winter

Today, we chat with St. Mary's Stockton senior distance runner, Karl Winter. While other Sac-Joaquin athletes have been getting lots of attention this spring including Davis HS senior pole vaulter Sondre Guttormsen, Winter has been recording his best Track and Field season to date. He has already recorded multiple personal bests over the 1600 and 3200 distances and his current PRs now stand at 4:16.39 and 9:12.09. The latter mark took place this past weekend at the Arcadia Invitational as Winter recorded a victory in one of the Friday 3200 races. He also just recently announced that he has committed to attending Pepperdine University next fall.
