New CCS record for Piedmont Hills in SMR

Piedmont Hills (Timarya Baynard, Tammy Nguyen, Reonna Collier, Bianca Bryant) breaks the CCS Sprint Relay record with a time of 4:06.03 that was held by Leigh (4:07.68 in 2010) at the New Balance Indoor Championships.

Posting here, but question has nothing to do with this particular post -- what is the rule about running for and/or practicing with a youth club and high school team during the high school season?

From Hal Harkness:
An athlete may practice with a youth club during the HS season, but once he/she has participated in a sanctioned CIF meet he/she may no longer represent the club in any meet until he/her high school season has concluded. CIF Rule 600.

You can compete as an unattached athletic in any college / open meet at any time doing the high school season. You cannot wear the schools uniform.

Is indoor track considered the same as outdoor track? Were they "unattached" while competing for PH Track Club?

If the time they ran is considered a CCS record, then they would have had to compete as Piedmont Hills.

That's not true. The CCS does not keep records save for CCS meet records. Not to mention that the sprint medley relay is not an official CIF or CCS event. Hank Lawson's list of records by athletes attending CCS schools is just that.

Agreed. Should I change the title to "Hank's CCS Records" so as to avoid confusion?
