Conner 15th, all American
Sadly all-American is top 13. Great job to Connor still
I can't argue with a free webcast, but what happened to the coverage in the second half of the boys race?
Girl's race was amazing, but disappointing to see the home favorite and West girls finishers not even get in top 20. And no west runners in Top 10 from either race.
Good commentary... another XC season over. :(
The West takes quite a hit before Foot Locker national meet when the top 5 CA boys and girls (for the most part) choose to go to the NXN meet. I think the boys and girls that represented California as individuals or as part of teams would have had a say in the results of today's Foot Locker final.
The girls' race btw...that was awesome!
It would be nice if Nike and Footlocker could figure out a compromise to get a true national championship instead making the athletes choose which one to go to.
The boys coverage was different because the lead cart had a tire blow out after the first big downhill. They did the best they could under the circumstances. To clarify an earlier question, according to the Foot Locker XC website, top 15 earn "All-American" status.
