New schedule just came out. I cannot express how disappointed I am that the girls 3200 is starting at 3:40. Currently the only runners who will be able to run under the lights are the elite boys.

They should move the medley and have the final 3200 races finish at 9:30-10 pm like Dan Gabor so most 3200 runners (boys and girls) get to run under the lights. I know there are lots of heats but this could have been managed much better as the kids just don't get to run under the lights very often. Maybe we will head to Kings Academy Distance night meet year.

^Just another example of how women's sports are systematically placed behind men's in our list of priorities as a society. Disappointing and I'm sorry for all the ladies who won't be able to a)run under the lights, which is an awesome feeling as a runner, and b)have a huge audience cheering for them, because the majority of spectators will come later on in the day to watch the more "serious" races.

Dublin HS coach Chris Williams always asks for feedback about the meet and ways to make it better. He is very easy to contact if you have a suggestion you want to share with him.

Girls not running under lights has nothing to do with society's priorities, what a ridiculous assertion that it does. Time frames do not dictate social status so calm down please.
