Why are the time so slow? especially for the boys 1600

I am sure it was cold and probably windy which turned the races tactical. May have also been nicer for the 3200s based on the times posted.

Fastest Freshman in the boys 1600?

Unfortunately no grades listed in results so does anybody know who was the fastest freshman in boys' 1600m?

The 1600m was so slow because no one pushed the pace until the last lap. The winning splits were 71, 70, 70, and 60

Also, I know Cameron Gaskell is a freshman and he placed 20th overall, but I don't know if anyone who placed higher is a freshman or not

Checking the grade level of all of the other 19 finishers in the Boys 1600, Cameron was the top freshman.
