I'm assuming that the 10 teams that they have put on the list for Friday and Saturday are kind of locked in for being in it and they are waiting to add the bubble ones still. There was only 1 championship race for girls and 1 for boys last year and it had 17 boys teams and 18 girls teams. Not sure they will go that many because it will probably be a bit diluted then but I would expect a few more.
I am assuming the fields are set since teams have to make travel and hotel plans depending on when they are racing. It looks like the teams and individuals that have asked to move to the tougher Saturday races have already been moved.
I actually just read the text that he put on there and they will expand the championship fields for both days to 16 teams and 8 individuals each.
