Thanks to Joe and Albert for putting this together and and putting it on the site...so cool! I have lunch with Kevin McMahon (he is an art teacher at Bellarmine) several times a week, and he is still a huge track fan. We have spent hours discussing the just completed and amazing Olympic track meet. He attended two Olympics in the hammer, and several world championships as well, and his stories from those experiences are awesome. I wish the olympics happened right before track season...I think a meet like that would generate a huge amount of interest in the sport which may dissipate by February.

That is correct and that is Giusto winning the Kinney National HS XC Championship as a senior in 1983.
